Share draft disclosure addendum
- One per member
- $15,000 maximum, balance over $15,000 receives regular interest rate

- $10.00 fee for falling below $1,000 anytime during month
- $10.00 fee for not maintaining a monthly direct deposit of $500.00, 60 day initial waiver

Open Your Checking Account Today!
You must be a GSA FCU member in order to open a checking account. Here are four convenient ways to open your checking account:
1. In Person
Visit either of our branch locations and speak with a Member Services Representative to open a share account. All it takes is a $5 initial deposit and a photocopy of one of the following forms of identification:
- Your driver's license (or other official photo ID) plus proof of membership eligibility.
- A document showing your Social Security number, such as your Social Security card, a copy of your Social Security Card or a payroll stub.
2. Online
Visit our website (www.gsafcu.gsa.gov) and electronically submit the Membership Application.
- Authorize a minimum electronic deposit of $5 payable to GSA Federal Credit Union to open your share account.
- Fax a copy of your driver's license (Or other official photo ID), plus proof of eligibility, such as a payroll stub, and a document showing your Social Security Number to (202) 208-4023.
3. By Mail
- Visit our website and download the Membership Application.
- Mail the completed Membership Application and check to:

- Include a photocopy of your driver's license (or other official photo ID) plus proof of eligibility, such as a payroll stub, and a document showing your Social Security number.
- Enclose a check for the opening deposit to your checking account.
4. By Phone
Call one of our Member Service Representatives at 1-866-820-0105. We will mail everything you need to open your GSA FCU checking account.
